Pip is here :)

So you have probably gathered by my absence that we have now been joined by a very small person.

I am very happy to say that baby Pip was born on the 14th May and is a...

Girl :)

And surprisingly, considering that Nemo was 8lb11oz and Pebble was 9lb8oz, Pip was small for us at 7lb8oz!

Now we were concerned that Nemo being quite invested in having a little brother would be disappointed with the arrival of a second little sister. However we didn't need to worry as Pip's present of a remote controlled car was ample bribery.

Hilariously Nemo made the deduction that as the car was a gift from Pip the car had also been in Mummy's tummy :-D
Nemo has been showing his soft side frequently coming to Pip and saying 'she's so cute!', ''look at her little ears' etc. Nemo finds breastfeeding fascinating and the breast pump even more so!

Pebble is less bothered by her little sister but she also hasn't shown any jealousy.... Yet!
Whenever Pip cries Pebble comments 'baby tired' which is her new favourite phrase alongside 'it's hot!'. Sometimes she mixes it up and says 'baby hungry'! Pebble does also have a pre occupation with noses and enjoys prodding Pip's nose and saying 'pop!'.

The NHS cyber hack made Pip's arrival later than expected and a little chaotic but then it is us, it was never going to be straight forward. It also meant Nemo and Pebble stayed at my parents for longer than anticipated and Nemo made the decision that he wants to live with grandma and Grandad... Because they have stairs in their house?! Thankfully after a couple of weeks Nemo seems to have decided we're not that bad after all!

Life with a newborn is going relatively well although getting out of the house is time consuming (we didn't leave the house until 11.30am today!) Hubby returns to work next week so we will have to become much more efficient! Little Pip does unfortunately have a tongue tie which we have to travel almost 2 hours away to get treated next week but hopefully it will help with feeding.

We feel very much in a little baby bubble and I am dreading reality hitting next week! I will leave you with a few baby photos!

Baby Pip's first trip to the beach today :)
