The Mum, The Dog and The 3 Babies!: Hoping there's no week 4!

This week marks the third week of illness in our house. It started with Nemo and Pebble having quite bad colds for about a week and a half and they have since this time had stomach bugs. I have had bits of both and am feeling quite run down with a really sore throat.

We've done our usual routine things however haven't been venturing out much aside from this.

This weekend evolved largely around planning a baby shower. This meant am ikea trip on a Saturday morning, of course it was the first Saturday of the month so was especially busy. We also popped into b+m and the pound shop. It was a pretty sucessful trip and the children were super behaved. They just love going out, even to the supermarket. Nemo loves to help and at the moment loves me to give things to put somewhere or give to his Dad. I have a feeling he may not be so eagar to help when he's a teenager!

On Saturday evening my friend came and babysat our children so we could go out on our own for the first time in 16 months (and only the second time since we've had children!) the children were in bed when she arrived and she joked that she wanted to wake Pebble up because she always likes to steal baby cuddles at group. I think Pebble's been mistaken for her baby a couple of times now.

We went for a meal but weren't too long as I wasn't feeling overly well and didn't even finish my cocktail! We actually popped into the 24 hour asda afterwards to pick up something ikea had run out of for the baby shower!

Yesterday Pebble breastfeed on and off for about 4 hours and needed so much cuddling she just stayed in the sling with me all morning before having a massive nap (almost 4 hours!) Nemo fell asleep on the chair downstairs and didn't eat properly... My kids are definately not their normal selves!
