Invasion of Llanberis, day 3 and 4!

I forgot to share with you this sight whilst we were on holiday. Whilst on the kitchen I saw some people pull in and carry this large blow up, naked doll into a house. The couple bringing it in we're laughing with some other people so I can only assume that this is a stag night but it was quite an unexpected sight in the welsh countryside!

Now Nemo and Pebble both love calpol. Generally we don't use it a lot (although the last 5 weeks have seen us go through 2 large bottles worth!). I think they get it from my sister who is quite partial to calpol. My parents put us on paracetamol tablets as soon as possible I think as calpol may have been a bit too nice sometimes....
This is Pebble eagerly anticipating her antibiotics!

Day 3 saw us head to Mendai Bridge with just us and the kiddies.
We found some free parking at the side away from the town and walked over.
It was such a beautiful day and the water was a gorgeous blue colour.

I just love autum such lovely colours. It's why we got married in autum.

Mendai Bridge had another lovely boutique childrens shop full with lovely but very expensive things for children. Again I resisted!!
I love this house! How amazing!

Nemo had a very VERY smelly nappy. The type that you can smell even in the open air! We couldn't find a public toilet quickly so found a quiet spot by the harbour to change Nemo. Well fresh air is good for babies bottoms!

Thankfully Pebble needed a feed so I managed to dodge the nappy changing! (Another great reason to breastfeed!)

This slight bizarre parking baffled us. My guess is when originally parked there was a car in front meaning that parking horizontally was the only way to fit!

Another tiring day being push around for Pebble!

Afterwards we popped to the supermarket to get the food for dinner as it was our day to cook. Unfortunately Hubby was very over tired so I told him to go to bed whilst I made dinner for 9 adults and 4 children. I made a carrot and ginger soup, with baked normal and sweet potatoes. I thought this was would be a simple meal (the soup is really easy to make) however didn't anticipate how long it would take to peel 3kg of carrots whilst holding Pebble in the sling!

I made rainbow skewers for dessert which was a practice for the baby shower I was holding the next week. I managed to do most of the meal on my own with Nemo watching cbeebies on the ipad and Pebble in the sling but my Mum did take the children and my sister came to help at the end!

Day 4 we stole my twin nieces and took them to Dinas Dinlle beach. We have often dreamt about having 4 children so having all 4 kiddies in the car was really fun. (I'm sure 3 toddlers and 1 baby in a car would not be fun for that long though!!!!)

The twins are delicate little souls, they love flowers and one twin in particular will pick a flower and hold it in her hand for hours. Meanwhile Nemo is charging around the beach like Poppy!

Doesn't he look a natural with all the children!

Poppy again had fun going nuts!

Pebble was in the sling, I have this amazing fleece which is made to go over the sling and is very snug got us both! Pebble decided the sea was over rated and decided to snooze instead!
It was all going very well until Nemo and the twins started to get bored of the sand and stones and decided that the sea looked pretty good. One by one The three toddlers started making a break for the sea. Me and Hubby were catching them and bringing them back to the beach however Twin K managed to time her break to perfection when Twin S was being carried back and walked straight I to the sea. Shoes and full clothing on. Luckily hubby managed to swoop in and pick her up just before a sizeable wave hit her.

As her tights and shoes were now soaked we decided to take all of their shoes off and let them paddle.
My hubby proved to be a dedicated uncle and his shoes got soaked whilst he held the childrens' hands so they could paddle!
There were a couple of tumbles so the twins both ended up being fairly wet! We decided to call it a day and put everyone back in the car. The twins were not impressed at being taken out of the sea and screamed!

They did recover though!

You can see how wet their skirts were! I'm not sure if my Brother will ever let us have them again!!!!

In the afternoon we went to a place called Bounce Below. http://www.bouncebelow.net/
It's a underground area where they have a extensive maze of nets suspended which you can play in. There are these scarey tube slides made of the nets. It's very cool. We didn't risk taking a camera in there but here are a couple of photos from google

Nemo and Pebble were too young to come (although I'm certain Nemo would have loved it being a bit of a thrill seeker!) so my sister kindly took them for the session.
I found it a little bit scarey when I looked down (some parts of the netting are suspended over sizeable drops) some of the slides are considerably steep and long! It was very expensive (£20 per adult) but it was different to anything over ever done before so glad we went.
